AS Ekspress Grupp is transferring its ownership in the subsidiary Geenius Meedia O\u00dc to Delfi Meedia AS, a media company belonging to the Group. Following the change, Geenius will continue to operate as an independent media outlet, maintaining its journalistic autonomy and distinctive content production.<\/p>\n
According to Ekspress Grupp, the goal of the restructuring is to place greater focus on developing the content and new formats offered by Geenius, while also finding additional synergies in the administrative functions of the media companies. Geenius Meedia will continue to operate as a separate unit, preserving its unique editorial voice and independence. The Geenius.ee portal will likewise remain independent, continuing to focus on digital, automotive, and technology-related content.<\/p>\n
All existing contracts and subscriptions of Geenius Meedia will remain valid, and no operational changes are planned. Martha-Beryl Grauberg will continue as Editor-in-Chief of the Geenius.ee portal. The current CEO of O\u00dc Geenius Meedia, Martin Mets, will leave the company at the end of December following the completion of the transition. Thereafter, the administrative management of Geenius Meedia will be assumed by Karin Vene, Head of New Business Areas at Delfi Meedia.<\/p>\n
