CEO of Latvian Delfi changes

Chairman of the Management Board of Latvia’s leading media company, A/S Delfi, Konstantins Kuzikovs will step down from his position on August 23, 2024. Until a new chairman is elected, board member Maira Meija will assume his duties.

Mari-Liis Rüütsalu, a member of the A/S Delfi Supervisory Board, thanked Konstantins Kuzikovs for his contributions to solidifying Delfi’s position as Latvia’s leading media company. “During his more than 10 years at Delfi, Konstantins led the company’s development. With his help, we have launched the first paid content concept in Latvia, increased the company’s turnover more than 2 times and built D Screens, an outdoor media company with more than 100 digital screens,” explained the Supervisiory Board member.

The departure is by mutual agreement, and the company’s supervisory board has begun the search for a new chairman. In the interim, the position will be taken over by Delfi board member, Head of Business Development and Subscriptions, Maira Meija. The board will also continue to include the Editor-in-Chief of Latvian Delfi, Filips Lastovskis.
